About Me

All my life I have been fascinated by the natural world.

Most of my earliest memories involve chasing butterflies around my back garden or of running through fields with pockets full of crickets.

During high school, I was lucky enough to visit the rainforests of Costa Rica. This motivated me to study biology at Sixth Form College and ultimately at Oxford University where I achieved a first class honours degree in Biological Sciences. At Oxford, I was lucky enough to join field trips in the UK and abroad with many experts in their respective fields.

Throughout this time, a passion for photography was growing. This originated from the thrill of trying to capture images of Costa Rica's wildlife on a compact camera. During Sixth Form College and university, I was lucky enough to work with PromPix Photography and with them, I shot school proms.

My true passion though has always been with wildlife photography. I studied for an MSc in Biological Photography and Imaging at Nottingham University, achieving a Distinction. After Nottingham, I worked with NextGen School Photography full-time for four months. I am currently planning to walk solo from Genoa, Italy, to Arctic Finland to raise money for The BBC Wildlife Fund.
